Wandering around the Bourbon Street at night is an experience that life should not miss during a visit or stay in New Orleans. The French Quarter in the streets of New Orleans is the place where the structures of the houses and buildings resemble the colonial era architectural style. It looks towards the Canal Street, which serves as the point dividing the north and the south. The abundance of tall buildings in the streets of New Orleans is one of the reasons why the city is famous to many people and popular all around the world. The unique architectural designs of the buildings actually reflect the rich historical roots of the city and the multicultural heritage of the entire estate of Louisiana. Though most of the buildings in New Orleans range within the low and mid rise structures only because of the soft soil, the World Trade Center New Orleans and the Plaza Tower were still built here. There are many things to look forward to when visiting the city of New Orleans, Since it is a tourist spot in the state of Louisiana located in proximity to the Gulf of Mexico, much of its attractions are related to the activities near the Port of New Orleans. There are many ships and cruise liners taking their place in the ports of this beautiful bay. One notable cruise liner is the Carnival Cruise Lines, which usually provide numerous tourists and job opportunities to local residents and even to foreign overseas workers. Another festivity that thousands of tourists love to witness and interact with in New Orleans is the Festival of the Mardi Grass. Music is also a reason of festivity in this city. The Jazz Fest once a year draws a large crowd of people who love to experience the unique Jazz styles of music and there are even a lot of foods, arts, and crafts that people always look after during the festival. The Voodoo Festival and the Essence Music Festival are also another two of the largest music festivals in New Orleans that draw local and foreign visitors. The indigenous cuisine in New Orleans is world famous as well, and visitors and travelers would never pass by the city without tasting the delicious and delectable Louisiana style of dishes. A trip around the city of New Orleans can be an experience worth trying because of the rich culture, unique cuisines, and all the historical places and structures that are rich in history.
