About Fort Lauderdale

Think about Spring breaks, wet T-shirts contest, tequila shots, and loud and crazy wild college students, what place comes in mind? Fort Lauderdale, Florida! That’s right; Fort Lauderdale was once the ultimate Spring Break destination, until it all went south when college kids started doing stupid stuff that got themselves kicked under the curb. It happened during the eighties, which also drove Fort Lauderdale to consider a bigger opportunity and rebranded the city to attract a more experienced and sophisticated clientele. With Fort Lauderdale’s world-class beaches and attractions, it was not a difficult transition. Though the city still do cater to these young kids Spring Break festivities, rules and regulations are now set to handle the craziness that goes on every Spring Break celebration. But enough about Spring Break, Let’s talk about For Lauderdale. This energetic city brags about its long strip of beautiful sand beach and active lifestyle. The new beachfront Promenade, which was just recently remodeled, is now open and it offers more great places to give you plenty of reason to linger in the city aside from hitting the beach. To fully enjoy your visit, be sure not to miss on the following tourist attractions: The Museum of Discovery and Science. Show your kids how enjoyable science can be by bringing them at the Museum of Discovery and Science. It’s a perfect way to spend the day learning and having fun with the whole family together. You can experience being close and personal with alligators, sharks, bats or turtles in their two-storey habitat. Or choose to fly into space and travel to planet Mars using an FA-18 cockpit simulator. Make sure to end your visit with an IMAX film adventure, which makes the whole museum experience complete. Butterfly World. Give your eyes a treat! Visit the butterfly world to have a visual feast. It is an amazing experience to have thousands of butterflies flying around you as your hearing senses is filled with classical music you’re filled with different foreign species of plants and flowers around you. It’s definitely worth the trip! Las Olas Boulevard. A trip to Fort Lauderdale won’t be complete without a visit to the heart of the city, Las Olas Boulevard. It is the hottest place to shop, dine and just hang around. You can find the best boutiques, famous restaurants, galleries, outdoor cafes and so much more only here in Las Olas Boulevard. You can even park your boat at the dock for free and get serve there as well. Everglades National Park. Experience the thrill of cruising the World’s largest swampland in an airboat ride. This swampland is known to have some of the unique animal habitats. Get up close and intimate with the wildlife of Everglades. You can watch a wrestling show between alligators or hold one if you like. But never leave without trying some alligator meat on your way home. Visit this swamp park at its best from December to April, when the weather is good and pleasant.
